MAGICAL forces have been at play during the Harry Potter exhibition at Hannahs, Seale-Hayne.

Some clever wizards are thought to be behind the popularity of the show which has attracted more than 10,000 visitors since it opened last month.

Effective wand-waving has seen floods of Potter enthusiasts flock to the venue to see how the great Rowling masterpiece has been illustrated over the years.

Regular quidditch and potion-making sessions have also proved a tonic for devotees of the juvenile hero from Hogwarts.

Hannahs marketing and events executive Matt Newbury, said: ‘We are thrilled with the number of people the exhibition has already attracted and the really positive feedback we’ve been getting.’

He added: ‘We have totally smashed our targets, which is incredible news. It means more and more people are coming up to Hannahs and finding out what we are all about.

‘Our bistro, pantry and shops have also been packed as a result of the massive increase in visitor numbers and this means even more money is being raised for the charity and the disabled people we support.

‘Hannahs is a place where magic happens every day and this exhibition perfectly complements what we are all about.’
