BEER and gardens have got together to run this year’s Abbfest spectacular of food, drink and crafts.
Organisers of the three-day jolly have linked up with Fermoy’s Garden Centre who once again will accommodate the real ale exhibition.
Fermoy’s, now under the ownership of Blue Diamond, will host the event from September 16 to 18.
The Ipplepen-based sponsors have also agreed a grant of £3,000 to help the event raise even more money for local charities.
As many as 8,000 people are expected to sample the delights on offer at the show which has raised more than £100,000 for local groups and organisations over the years.
Abbfest chairman David Munden, said: ‘The continued support of Blue Diamond is crucial to the success of Abbfest.
‘The Fermoy’s site and adjacent field allows us to have our extended marquees as well as provide on-site parking.
‘To have the grant in addition to the hosting is wonderful news indeed as this enables us to secure more headline acts.’
