This year's Widecombe Fair proved true country life and tradition is alive and kicking in the village.
On Tuesday, around 4,000 visitors enjoyed the attractions and demonstrations, including parades of horses and livestock, gun dog displays, dog agility, ferret racing, vintage machinery and the famous Uncle Tom Cobley race.
There were also more than 50 trade stalls for fair-goers to browse and an array of locally-produced goods and refreshments.
Former MP and Strictly Come Dancing star Ann Widdecombe left her home near Haytor to join in the fun.
