DELIGHTED with the ‘amazing response’ to their Vinyl Revival night in Newton Abbot, Phoenix Sounds says it plans to run more events.

The Vinyl Revival night took place at the Jolly Farmer.

‘We are so pleased that we are getting this amazing community support,’ said Roger of Phoenix Sound. ‘We would like to bring more events and music to the area. Watch this space!’.

The evening, with Dawlish-based author Graham Jones was perfect for music and vinyl lovers, with a brilliant documentary and some great stories from the vinyl retail world.

‘The chosen charity for the evening was No Limits Community café and hub for which we all raised £300.

‘What a fun yet also informative evening! said No Limits

‘We love the fact that Newton Abbot has an independent vinyl shop and are very grateful for Phoenix Sounds choosing our community interest company as the beneficiary for this event.

‘We relish any opportunities to work with other local businesses to boost the economy and increase social opportunities for everybody within the town. Community is everything’.

No Limits offers employability skills and supported employment opportunities, changing, and improving the lives of those with different abilities. They also make awesome coffee, paninis, and brunches!
