A fun dog show and professional dog agility demonstration will be part of the Animals in Distress annual family fun day tomorrow, June 23.
The event is at the rescue centre in Ipplepen, from 11am to 4pm.
There’ll also be fun games and competitions for dogs, such as ‘temptation alley’ and ‘musical sits’, as well as the chance to meet working police dog PD Peppa.
Other stalls and attractions will include animal-themed competitions for children; facepainting; glitter tattoos; a barbeque; refreshments; and a cake stand.
A spokesman for the charity said: ‘It will be a great day out for all the family. Everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun, and to meet the cats, rabbits and guinea pigs at the rescue centre. We really hope to see you there.’
