A CARNIVAL committee is calling upon members of the public to apply for its Good Causes Grant.

Shaldon Water Carnival Committee distributes a portion of any profits they make after organising their annual events to local good causes, with particular attention being given to those involving water-based activities, as well as those  which help children in Shaldon and Ringmore.

Regrettably the committee did not make a profit last year, but, in spite of that outcome, the organisation remains acutely aware that some local child–focused groups are struggling to access vital financial support.

Shaldon Water Carnival Committee, therefore, remain happy to provide such grants out of their reserves, if there is an exceptional need.
