THE Gallery at the Bovey Paradiso is staging an exhibition by South Devon-based artist and printmaker Ian Cox.

A spokesperson said: ‘At present, Ian is working in lino-cut print, but he also produces amazing, intensely detailed pencil drawings. This isn’t the first time Ian’s work has been exhibited in The Gallery and it is always really well received.’

His exhibition runs until Sunday, July 2. After that, the people at the Paradiso are throwing their doors open to all budding artistsThe team are inviting artists to submit their work for a pop-up show in their new gallery and café space.  

The show, titled ‘This Is What I Want To Say’, will run from July 5 until August 13.

The spokesman said: ‘This will be a great chance to get your work seen in a wonderful space, with a chance to sell your artwork.

‘We will accept paintings, photography, graphic art, printmaking, collage and ‘wall mounted 3D pieces.

We cannot accept ceramics, glasswork or sculptures, as this show will be in a café environment – wall-mounted art only, please.’

All accepted artwork needs to be delivered by June 30.
