A NEW minibus is on order for the Newton Abbot Community Transport Association thanks in part to a £5,000 donation from Santander Bank.

The £35,000 vehicle will replace another that has served its time with the ever-expanding charity which provides isolated people across the district with a means of getting out and about.

Santander's Newton Abbot branch director Stuart Powell, who took up the post earlier this year, said his firm had helped out elsewhere in Devon and now wanted to do likewise in Teignbridge.
