TEIGNMOUTH gardeners have been coaxing their plants into a riot of colour for this year's Teignmouth In Bloom. Green fingered enthusiasts battled the bone-dry conditions to create a stunning display for judge Roy Halsey. Mr Halsey said: 'All the displays have been a pleasure to judge and marking has been close. A lot of hard work has been done by everyone,' he said. In Bloom co-ordinator Cllr Sylvia Russell said that publicity for the winners had come out earlier this year, so that more people could enjoy the displays. She thanked Viv Wilson for transporting the judge around the exhibits, and June Green for an overview of the commercial sections. Jack's Patch donated gift vouchers for the winners.
