IT was the biggest turn out yet seen for a public meeting in Bishopsteignton, when residents packed the village hall to protest over allegations that the £1.5million will of a local woman had not been fully complied with.
An estimated 150 people turned out, and the start had to be delayed to fit everybody in – with many standing.
Many villagers claim the executors of Molly Coombe's estate were not adhering to her 'heartfelt wish' that part of the garden of her home in Newton Road should be used as an amenity area for the benefit of the museum and/or the village.
