A BIKER was airlifted to hospital after suffering serious leg in a crash with a van on the Teignmouth to Dawlish Road this afternoon, Monday.

A police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called around 3.05pm today, following a two-vehicle collision on Teignmouth Road in Dawlish. The collision involved a motorcycle and a van.

‘The male motorcyclist sustained a number of injuries, including a serious leg injury.

‘Ambulance and air ambulance attended. The rider was airlifted to Derriford Hospital.’
