BINMEN are out doing their rounds again today after severe snow halted their operations last week.

Crews across the district were told to stand down as Teignbridge was battered by storm Emma on Thursday and Friday.

A spokesman for Teignbridge Council said: ‘From today (March 5) we are prioritising bin the collections we were unable to get to recently due to weather conditions.’

The authority is urging residents to make sure their bins and boxes are out for the refuse collectors to collect.
