I am among the many who consider the recently-opened Wolborough Street pedestrianised area a vast improvement and well worth the time, money and effort put into achieving this pleasant area.

Full marks to the men who laid the paving – it certainly makes the Courtenay Street section look rather poor by comparison. The tables and chairs outside the eateries add atmosphere to the open space, as do the benches and trees.

But surely there is something missing from the street furniture? There is not a litter bin to be seen. Has the council forgotten to install them, got them on order, or tightening its belt to save cash? Please can Teignbridge place at least one bin near the benches of this otherwise excellent area?
