A LIBRARY card allows one to take out a book and read it in the comfort of one's home, but at one Teignbridge library you can take out more than books.

Newton Abbot Library is offering its users the option to borrow one of its many jigsaws for free by using their library card.

A spokesman for Newton Abbot Library said: 'Don't forget, you can also play one of our amazing board games here in the library for free too!'

Also, the library are always on the lookout for donations of jigsaws, puzzles and board games.
