MORE than 20 volunteers tackled the first of two tours of the boundary of Kingsteignton.
Their nine-mile tour took them along the west side of the town for the traditional, once every seven years, Beating the Bounds.
The remainder of the boundary, approximately eight-and-a-half miles, will be covered tomorrow.
Last Saturday, the volunteers walked along rivers, woods, quarries and fields in search of the important boundary stones around the parish to the west of the A380.
