THE Bradley Lane area of Newton Abbot – the town centre's main industrial base – will house the planned £9.7 million university technical college, it was announced this week.

The exact site will be known in a few weeks, and will be on land provided by Teignbridge Council.

After the site is approved as expected in June, it is hoped the college can be opened by 2015.
