A GROUP of children and staff from Rydon Primary School took to two wheels to try out the new cycle and walking bridge at Town Quay, Newton Abbot.

The youngsters enjoyed a five-mile ride from the school, along the cycle route to the Town Quay and back to the school.

Organised by the charity Sustrans, the event saw about 15 children take part.
