Buckfastleigh Apple Day is back this Sunday, October 13, at the Orchard Millennium Green, from midday.
Everyone can have a go at making their own homemade, freshly pressed juice using a specially provided apple scratter and traditional apple press.
There’ll be an array of apple themed activities, provided by local businesses and community organisations, music, refreshments and a barbecue.
Trefor Jones, of the Orchard Millennium Green Trust said: ‘We’re delighted to be hosting this enjoyable event once again and after a very productive juice-making session last year, we are confident and looking forward to going one better this time round.
‘We would like to thank Ben Cattral for all his help in the organisation of the day and for providing the apple pressing equipment.
‘This annual event is always an enjoyable afternoon, so do come along, bring your own apples, or pick them from the trees of the orchard and participate in some fun, traditional activities.’
Entry is free and event may move to October 20 if the weather is bad.
