an appeal has gone out for volunteers to come forward to help some facilities to continue as youth services in Teignmouth face savage cuts.

Devon looks like being left with just a handful of youth workers from a total of more than 200 as the county council tries to slash millions from its budget.

The Teignmouth area could fare badly, with the popular Eastcliff Centre being forced to close its Thursday and Friday youth club activities.
