q Insects have been checking in at the new bug hotel constructed in the garden at Ilsington Pre-School. It has been made using recycled materials such as bricks, straw, rocks and wooden pallets that have been donated by parents. 'The idea of having a bug hotel was thought up by pre-school manager Nicki Portus,' said Rose Underhill, an assistant at the pre-school. 'We hope the hotel will be full of bugs by the spring. We like to take the children outside as much as possible and enrich their learning.'
