A BUS ride through Kingskerwell became a little too hot for comfort after the brakes caught alight.

Two fire crews from Torquay dealt with the incident involving a overheating private bus on the Torquay Road.

The incident happened just after 7pm on Friday when flames were spotted coming from underneath the vehicle.

A hose jet was used to extinguish the small fire.
