TOY mascots came to life and entertained young shoppers at Newton Abbot’s Austins store, among them Imogen Voisey, who is pictured with Peppa Pig and Play-Doh. The characters dropped in throughout the half term holiday to join in fun events, including balloon modeling and bead making. Other mascots seen in store included Freya the Chocolate Rabbit; YooHoo, based on an endangered species from Africa; and members of the Shopkins gang of grocery items.
