The Eden Hotel Collection announce that Bovey Castle has won the coveted gold award for hotel of the year and scooped a silver award in the spa and wellbeing category at the Devon Tourism Awards.

The hotel has also been recognised for excellence in the Best Loved Awards 2016, where it scooped the prestigious hotel of the year category in recognition for achieving exceptional standards.

This year, the Dartmoor country estate has gone from strength to strength, having undergone an extensive £3.5 million refurbishment encompassing general restoration work throughout, plus considerable work on the spa, brasserie, restaurant, public areas and bedrooms, while the hotel’s new off-road driving experience is the only one of its kind at a hotel in the south west.
