A KINGSKERSWELL skip hire and waste transfer business is desperately seeking new premises or face closure.

ABC Siddalls has been trading at Coventry Farm Estate for 28 years and employs 20 staff.

The company has been given notice to leave the site as Ocean BMW has plans to buy the land and build a large showroom and workshop.

Devon County Council has objected to the planning application because of its impact on ABC Siddalls, and the need for such a waste management business in the area.

Steve Robinson, who co-owns the company with his brother Ian, said: ‘We’re frantically trying to find a site to move to but it’s really difficult to find land.’
