THE future of a landmark Newton Abbot hotel remains unclear after it was sold for an undisclosed sum.

The Queens Hotel, opposite the town's railway station, was built in the 1850s and had been run for the past decade by owner Lynda Katz.

It has 24 rooms, two apartments and parking for up to ten vehicles.
