REINSTATING the Newton Abbot–Kingsteignton northern link road and earmarking Bovey Tracey Town Council owned land off Le Molay Littry Way for a possible school are among more than 20 recommended amendments to the Teignbridge Local Plan.

They were agreed by the district authority's overview and scrutiny committee on Tuesday in a meeting lasting nearly six hours.

The recommendations on the plan, formerly the core strategy – which takes the district forward from 2013-2033 – will be discussed by the council executive on Thursday before decision day by the full council on Friday, September 21.
