Chudfix Repair Cafe hopes to get going early next year, and organisers are already looking for fixers and volunteers of all kinds

They hope to run their first repair cafe in early 2020

They are holding their first meeting at the Con Club in Chudleigh on Thursday at 7pm and are putting out the call.

A spokesman said: ‘If you enjoy repairing things and helping others learn how, please join us as a volunteer fixer. 

‘Skills in fixing household items such as computers, electronics, small appliances, small furniture, clothes, jewellery, bikes and more, are all welcome. 

‘We’re also looking for volunteers to provide general support at our events or behind the scenes.’
