TWO motorists escaped unhurt after separate road accidents within minutes of each other outside Teignmouth Golf Club today.

Police say a Toyota rolled over on to its roof at Rowden Cross just after 6am.

It’s thought a second vehicle - a VW Caravelle - ended up in a hedge after trying to dodge the crashed car.

Two fire crews from the resort were called to make the Teignmouth-registered vehicles safe.

Highways staff were also called to clear the debris.

A police spokesman confirmed that no one was injured.
