POLICE and fire crews went to the scene of an accident after a car is thought to have skidded on oil in the road.

The vehicle’s air bags inflated in the incident just before 6pm on Tuesday on the A382 Newton Abbot to Stover road.

Firefighters made the vehicle safe and the road was clear by 6.20pm. No one was hurt.
