THE village green in Shaldon will ring to the sound of carols on Monday and the lights on the Christmas tree will also be lit to celebrate the start of the festive season.

Singalong Shaldon and Shaldon Primary School will lead the carols, and word sheets will be handed out. Refreshments will be on hand and a collection made on behalf of The Helen Foundation.
