POP superstar Olly Murs is coming to Teignbridge next year .
The singer-songwriter will be performing at Powderham Castle on July 8 as part of a UK-wide summer tour.
With much of 2020 coming to a standstill due to the Covid-19 pandemic, next year’s show is aiming to put a smile back on the face of the country.
Olly was last due to appear at the venue in 2017, but thousands of his westcountry fans were left disappointed when that gig was cancelled after the promoters went into liquidation.
However, this time all looks good for the singer, with the 25-date tour set to wow the local fans with his string of hits including Dear Darlin’, You Don’t Know Love and Wrapped Up.
An X-Factor finalist, he came second in the 2009 series, Olly has had an amazing career since selling well-over 10 million records worldwide and four number one albums.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (October 9) at 9am and are available from Ticketmaster.
