TEIGNBRIDGE councillors have been accused of 'playground' behaviour after a discussion on the fate of the district's CCTV system produced a spat about who should foot the bill.

More than 1,200 people have written to the authority demanding the cameras be kept but the man in charge has dismissed the call, saying money had to be saved and that the majority of residents had not bothered to complain.
