A portable toilet in the Bovey Tracey cemetery has been put out of action after the pump that operated it was stolen.

Paul Wilson, the area's police community support officer, admitted it was not the crime of the century, but it was sad that people stooped so low.

He told Monday's Bovey Tracey Town Council meeting: 'You just think that people cannot sink any lower. It is a shame for the people that use it'.
