Kingsteignton-based Newcross RFC are holding a charity day on Saturday, April 30.

Supported by Kingsteignton RBL, the event will raise funds for Meningitis UK and Cancer Research UK, as well as for the club.

There is a fun boys against girls tag match at 3pm, followed an auction, raffle and disco at the Legion starting at 5pm.

Among the items going under the hammer are a ride in a Rolls-Royce, a day’s clay pigeon shooting, hair and beauty treatments, dining experiences and a holiday for four to a five-star retreat in Gambia.
