ASHBURTON creatives, Chantel Warburton and Mark Burley of Sherewood Gallery, have got together to create a range of felt decoration kits.

With support from Ashburton Chamber of Trade, the range has been launched this week and are available to buy now from Ashburton Post Office.

Prices start at just £6 and all profits are going to local charities.

Father Christmas himself has given them his seal of approval, taking a particular fancy to the “Fairy Santa” decoration!

Ashburton Chamber of Trade have been working hard to promote their campaign ‘Ashburton Believes’ which encourages shopping locally at Christmas and supporting independent traders.

Lydia Wood, chair of Ashburton Chamber of Trade, says: ‘A lot of hard work has gone into making these decorations and they are a great way to shop locally while supporting charity.

‘Ashburton is the perfect place to shop this Christmas.

‘The high street is full of independent traders who have everything you need for the festive season and customers can enjoy shopping at a slower pace in a relaxed atmosphere.’

Ashburton will be hosting late night shopping evenings tonight. Thursday December 10, and Thursday, December 17, to give you even more chance to shop.

Parking in the car park is free from 4pm on these dates.
