A charity cricket match in Kingskerswell on Sunday delivered not only a cracking result for the team captained by Palm 105.5FM presenter Ben Moseby but also a cash windfall for the Children's Hospice South West.

The Palm XI maintained their unblemished record after scoring 183-8 and dismissing Kingskerswell for 142, giving the south Devon radio team a 41-run victory, their seventh in succession.

In the juniors' game, however, the Palm Predators lost out to the the team put together by the Devon Association of Cricket Officials, the DACO Daredevils.
