A children's community beach hut destroyed by vandals at Teignmouth has been replaced.

The original was wrecked in May, but now a new one has been provided for youngsters looked after by childminders from the Teign and Exe estuary areas.

It was the first project of its kind in the UK and is the brainwave of Estuary & Coastal Childminders, an association of about 30 independent childminders from Shaldon to Exminster.
