A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after collapsing at an Italian restaurant in Newton Abbot last night (Thurs)

Paramedics were called to Ricca’s, Queen Street, after the woman was taken unwell.

She was checked over and taken by ambulance for further treatment at Torbay Hospital.

The alarm was raised just before 8pm.
