Collectors' efforts much appreciated

Many thanks to the street and house collectors and all the local businesses which have again supported this year's Poppy Appeal in Ashburton.

The sum of £7,000 has already been raised for this year's appeal, which is currently higher than last year's collection at this time.

A big thank you to the communities of Ilsington, Bickington and Liverton who have, together, raised nearly £1,000 for the appeal.

This is considerably above last year's collection for which the efforts of collectors, businesses and the church collection are greatly appreciated
