TWELVE-YEAR-OLD Newton Abbot College student Jayden Paginton-Patterson is celebrating after completing Rowcroft Hospice’s Colour Rush earlier this month.

Jayden was running in memory of her great grandfather and single-handedly raised £58 through her friends and family.

‘It felt fantastic when I crossed the finish line, knowing I was making a difference,’ she said.

More than 700 people took part in the 5k charity run on September 17, pledging more than £67,000 to go towards helping local families living with life-limiting illnesses.
