BOVEY Tracey Town Council's Planning Committee has unanimously decided to object to another major development in the town.
Councillors believe enough is enough after more than 100 houses were built on the former Cardew site at the end of the Bovey Straight.
A further 185 homes along with 20 self-build properties and employment units are to go up on 27 acres at Bradley Bends.
The town and Teignbridge councils opposed the latter but lost out at appeal.
Now an application has gone into the district authority for 122 houses on land at Indio House, Newton Road, and on Monday the town council's planning committee decided to make its observations against in the strongest terms.<
