LAWYERS acting for clay company Sibelco are taking legal action to remove a group of travellers from land at Kingsteignton.

And the company has have brought in security guards to stop more vehicles getting on to the site.

Three caravans and one motorhome moved on to the Sibelco-owned site at Abbrook playing fields on Monday.

Staff from Sibelco have spoken to the group and asked the travellers to move on but they have stayed so far.

Papers are being prepared to go to court to serve them with an eviction notice but this will take some days and cost more than £2,000.
