Conservatives continue to hold the seats at Dawlish South West. Cllr Rosalind Prowse was thrilled to retain her seat with 978 votes. She's spent the last four years as a district councillor and eight years on the town council. 'It was an interesting campaign,' she said. 'I felt a lot more pressure trying to retain my seat. It's a great result. Getting these votes also shows that residents believe in me and I'm up to scratch and my hard work has paid off.' Cllr Humphrey Clemens won the other seat with 1004. Edward Leishman, representing the Liberal Democrats, got 377 while Sue Liner of the Green Party got 312. Independent candidate Terry Lowther received 527.
