GIVE us our money back – that's the demand from Devon County Council to Teignmouth Town Council.

The county authority claims the town council has not handed over some of the cash earmarked for a defibrillator charity more than a year ago.

But the town council strenuously denied that it has been laggardly in distributing the £750, and blamed it on a 'misunderstanding'.
