THE long-awaited cycle-pedestrian path along the Teign estuary may be mothballed.Devon county council promised the route between Teignmouth and Kingsteignton would be given priority after the Exe scheme had been completed.But now enthusiasm seems to have waned and with County Hall making savage economy cuts there are concerns it could be scrapped or indefinitely postponed.A county official told a Bishopsteignton councillor 'we do not yet know whether a path to Teignmouth is possible' and the press office later described the project as merely an 'aspiration'.
