CIVIC leaders in Ashburton have rejected a multi-million pound Chuley Road masterplan.Town councillors, who broadly support the idea of mixed development at the eight-acre site, say they have serious issues about traffic congestion and flood risks in the immediate area.Cllr Andrew Prince told Tuesday night's full council meeting: 'We cannot endorse this masterplan in its present form until or unless our reservations are addressed.'The masterplan for the commercial and residential redevelopment was commissioned as a joint venture between Dartmoor planners and Teignbridge Council, working with the Building Design Partnership town planners.
