A TEN-mile charity walk around Kingsteignton has raised more than £1,000.

A group of 28 women tackled the country lane route around Kingsteignton, Ideford and the outskirts of Chudleigh in aid of the children's charity Barnardos.

At the end of the walk, walkers enjoyed a well-earned drink at the Old Rydon pub.
