NEXT month’s mayoral couple Ann and Chris Jones are finally coming back down to earth after scooping a life-changing £350,000 on Grand National day.

Their new found wealth provoked nationwide bookies Betfred to admit ‘we have been well and truly bashed’.

The lucky pair, still shaking and catching their breath after Saturday’s shock six-of-the-best win, said afterwards: ‘We are completely gobsmacked.
