A Teignmouth couple are preparing for an ambitious 2,500 mile trek to Morocco, carrying all they need in rucksacks for wild camping.

Russel Brown, 37, and Lucy O'Keefe, 24, know it will be tough, with several potential dangers along the way, including snakes, bears, wolves, scorpions, wild boars and dogs, but are looking forward to the adventure.

'I wanted a challenge because life can be incredibly boring at times. This walk will certainly be interesting, across some difficult terrain at times,' said Mr Brown, a painter and decorator.
