TWO brave youngsters whose mother died on Tuesday are determined to still take part in a nativity tomorrow.
Christina Kok, 46, a mother- of-three from Teignmouth, lost her fight with cancer, and her husband Russell declared: 'She had been looking forward to watching the nativity play, but did not make it.
'Christina would have wanted the show to go on, and our two youngest children, although obviously very upset, feel the same.'
Ben, 11, and Mei-Lin, eight, have been rehearsing for the traditional nativity at St Michael's Church, Teignmouth, for some time – he plays the Angel Gabriel, and his sister plays the innkeeper's daughter.
There is no entry charge for the performance at 6.15pm, but the bulk of donations will go to Rowcroft Hospice, where Christina was treated and died.
The production is being dedicated to her.
